Thank you to everyone who attended our latest meetings in September. Our FIRST chapter meeting of the season (2023-2024) that we had on Saturday, September 16th and our September Virtual Book Club met on Zoom on September 24th. Both meetings were a success.
The chapter meeting was a HYBRID meeting with people attending both IN PERSON at Courage Kenny in Golden Valley, MN and on ZOOM. Thank you to the presenters from the MN Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division.
The September Book Club was at a special day and time of Sunday, September 24th at 4:00 pm. We had author Rebecca Alexander join us to discuss her memoir “Not Fade Away: A Memoir of Senses Lost and Found.” Rebecca was an engaging and fascinating speaker and we were lucky to have her join us!
Thank you to everyone who attended one of (or both of those events).

The next chapter meeting will be on Saturday, October 21st from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. The topic is “A History of Hearing Aids” by Jim Curran, Audiologist (retired). This meeting will also be a HYBRID meeting with the option to attend IN PERSON at Courage Kenny (Golden Valley, MN) or via ZOOM (REGISTER HERE BY October 20th).
The next book club is Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 pm (Central Time). We will be discussing the book “Murder on Lexington Avenue” by Victoria Thompson (fiction/mystery). As always, book club meets on ZOOM (REGISTER HERE).
