Thank you to those who attended the July 22nd HLAA-TC Book Club on Zoom where we discussed the memoir “In Silence: growing up hearing in a deaf world” by Ruth Sidransky. A detailed summary of the book club with links and more information will be posted soon.
The August book club will be a little different as we will be discussing a children’s book with the author and for additional reading material (since the children’s book is short in length we are reading a young adult novel. Both are related to hearing loss/ deafness.
