April Book Club Summary and Next Book


On Tuesday, April 23rd the HLAA-TC Book Club met on Zoom to discuss the nonfiction book “My Maggie” By Rich King. King is a retired sports broadcaster from Chicago and he wrote this book about his childhood sweetheart and first wife, Maggie King. Maggie was eventually diagnosed with Usher Syndrome and became DeafBlind. She also suffered and eventually died from cancer. Rich King wrote about those experiences in his book.
